The reality of the COVID-19 Pandemic has hit the Nigerian Society, haven rapidly moved across the African continent from returning travelers who have re-joined with their families and the society at large. The present Socio-Economic situation in the country due to the “necessary measures” put in place by the Government of Nigeria has required the swift intervention of WODDI to ensure that the very vulnerable populace especially Children, Youth and the Aged can survive not only the Pandemic, but as well as the increasing difficulty to feed.
As a matter of fact, we have successfully carried out foodbank palliative distribution to our 200 SNARP beneficiaries in 21 Local Government Area of Imo State.
We will continue to expand our reach, meet more needs and come to the aid of the several families that depend on us. We have launched a Multi Million Naira(#) Emergency Appeal to scale up our response and with your support, we hope to meet the changing Social-Economic and Health needs of the women and families that rely on us.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the WODDI.
Our goal is to have a society where every woman and young person is fully equipped with all they need to effectively carry out their potentials at home and in the society at large.
Our goal is so because, irrespective of your gender, religion or social stratification, you will agree that we all share a common belief, which is that; “We can only be at one place at any given point in time, wear a set of clothing at a time, drive in a particular car or sleep in one house at a given time. We can’t be in two places at once”.
In line with this, we have a vision of reaching out and touching the lives of women, orphans, youth and the internally displaced persons in Nigeria. This we have been doing for the past 15 years through our programmes which restores hope, educates, empowers and provides capacity building for our beneficiaries across Nigeria.
WODDI, through the SNARP programme has built 205 fully furnished 2-bedroom bungalows for indigent widows and orphans, empowered and trained over 1700 Nigerians on relevant skills through the WODDI Empowerment and Skills Acquisition Programme (WESAP) and has also counselled and groomed over 5000 girls from secondary schools into becoming tomorrow’s nurturers.
So, with this we hope that you will join us today and be part of this initiative which is centred towards making life more meaningful for people.
